Sifu May Be Coming to PlayStation Plus Thanks to a Minor PS Store Error.

For the next big PS Plus release, Sloclap’s punishingly difficult brawler, Sifu, may be in the works.

TechRadar discovered that if you own Sifu and log into your PlayStation account via a browser, the game’s listing in your Game Library has a small PS Plus symbol next to it. PS4 and PS5 versions of the game will have this symbol next to them, as will Dirt 5 and other games that are definitely part of PlayStation Plus.

Of course, this listing could be a mistake or a PS Plus subscription could lead to players receiving additional content for Sifu. It was just over two weeks ago that Sifu was released, receiving a warm critical and commercial reception, with an 80 percent Metacritic rating. It’s unusual for a game that was released just a few months ago to show up on PS Plus, as the service typically gets its hands on games that have been out for a while.
Although Microsoft’s Game Pass service seems unstoppable, Sony’s addition of such a recent release would be a good win. Sifu was also prominently featured in Sony’s PS5 Showcases and other PS5 marketing, which helped to lend some credibility to its PS Plus inclusion.
That’s what we said in our review of Sifu, which described the game as “a gorgeous, original, and intelligent brawler whose self-confidence is leveraged by its masterful ageing mechanic.”

We’ve compiled a list of some of the best fighting games if you enjoyed Sloclap’s latest.
