Xiaomi has announced a number of product launches for the upcoming “#DiwaliwithMi” festival, and the Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be one of the upcoming devices. The launch is scheduled for September 6 in India. Here’s what you can count on.
Redmi 11 Prime 5G Coming Soon
With the help of a dedicated microsite, Xiaomi has also provided some information about the Redmi 11 Prime 5G. The phone, which is being marketed as an “all-rounder,” will have a design similar to that of the Redmi K50i, with a rectangular camera hump housing two large lenses. A waterdrop notch replaces the punch hole on the front. It’s Aqua Green and has smooth edges. The range of colors available to us will expand as well.
The Redmi 11 Prime is likely a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11E 5G that was unveiled in China in March and is also powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Dual SIM card slots are also confirmed, and both will work with the 5G phone.
Dual 50-megapixel cameras on the back are promised, with a single 5-megapixel camera up front. Possible features include a 5,000 mAh battery and support for a 90 Hz refresh rate.
