Is the third season of Kakegurui confirmed? Season 2 of this anime series has been officially confirmed, although there is no set release date for the second season at this time.
The question now is, when will season 2 be released? Also, will there be a third season of Kakegurui on the horizon?
It is also known as Kakegurui: Compulsive Gambler. Kakegurui is a 2017 Japanese television anime series that aired 12 episodes in total.
It is a manga adaptation that has been turned into an anime series. Tooru Naomura illustrated the manga, which was written by Homura Kawamoto and drawn by him.
The first season of the show debuted on July 1st and concluded on September 23rd, according to the show’s website. Specifically, this corresponds to one season in 2017, specifically the summer season of 2017. Netflix’s anime series was directed by Hayashi Yuuichirou, and it was animated by Studio MAPPA.
After accounting for production delays caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, fans have been waiting for a new season of “Kakegurui” for quite some time. However, this has not occurred as of yet. Listed below is all we know so far about the possibility of a new season of episodes for this beloved shonen anime.
Sales and Profitability
More than 15,000 copies of the book have been sold thus far. DVD/Blu-Ray discs account for approximately 15-20 percent of the total revenue generated by an anime series. This may appear to be unprofitable, and it certainly contributed to the failure of several anime series.

Anime series have the potential to market a wide range of items, making it a thriving sector. Some of the products that were marketed as merchandise included the following:
Certain characters, such as this Naruto Men T-Shirt and the One Piece Zoro Shirt, both for men and women, are just stunning to look at. Also, have a look at this Gaming Mouse Pad with Maid Sama Posters because it appears to be the most attractive.
As well as this Keychain, there is a large selection of My Hero Academia backpacks, hoodies, Kaicho wa Maid Sama Misaki Ayuzawa Cosplay Costume, and other fun merchandise.
Kakegurui Season 3 Release Date
On March 31, 2019, the final episode of Kakegurui season 2 aired, and there has been no official announcement on whether or not season 3 will be released.
We are currently in the year 2022, and the first two seasons of the show were released two years apart from one another in 2011. The third season should have been released in 2021 according to that computation, however, it was not.
There is a Netflix anime series called Kakegurui that is created by MAPPA, however, none of these organizations has given an official statement on the matter.
We’ll look into any of the conceivable reasons for the occurrence or cancellation of a follow-up film. Kakegurui, on the other hand, hasn’t been completely scrapped yet either.
Consequently, for the time being, we’ll take a look at each of the important components in turn. Let’s get this party started! Neither the director nor the producer has responded to the request for comment. This means that we’ll have to make educated guesses about how to solve the problem.
Whether or not Kakegurui will return for the third season will be revealed in the following episode. That is exactly what we intend to achieve here.
Kakegurui Season 3 Characters & Cast
Because there has been no official announcement from the creators regarding season 3, we do not know who the final characters will be who we will meet in season 3. However, there are a few significant lead characters who will almost certainly appear:
Yumeko Jabami: Yumeko Jabami is the main character of Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler, and she is a woman with a gambling problem. She is a transfer student from Hyakkaou Private Academy, where she is a classmate of Ryota Suzui and Mary Saotome. It has been revealed that Yumeko’s family is working in collusion with Kirari Momobami’s family, who is competing for a position at Hyakkaou Private Academy.
Kirari Momobami is a major opponent in Kakegurui’s story and one of his key antagonists. She is the 105th President of the Student Council at Hyakkaou Private Academy, and she is in control of the academy’s current hierarchical structure. Her ancestors are related to Yumeko Jabami’s ancestors.
Ririka Momobami is a fictional character created by Kakegurui. Its Vice President is Yumeko Jabami, and she is the older identical twin sister of Kirari Momobami, whose family is related to Yumeko Jabami’s. She is also the Vice President of the Hyakkaou Private Academy Student Council.
Runa Yomozuki is a student council member that represents her peers. Aside from her role as head of the Election Committee, she also serves as a referee in election gambling bouts.
Kakegurui Season 3 Plot
Season 2 of Kakegurui ended on a filler episode because Rei Batsubami was created just for the anime. Because the major plot of the election was still incomplete, fans were left feeling nervous even after the great climax.
There’s a possibility that Season 3 of Kakegurui will continue where Season 2 ended with the election narrative, or that it would jump immediately into the fight with the Momobami sisters.
Kakegurui Season 3 Trailer
Because there has been no formal announcement of the renewal for a third season, there has been no chance for a trailer to be released at this time. I’m going to share the official trailer for season one with you, which may assist you in visualizing what season 1 will be like. We’ll notify you if any new information becomes available.

EndNote
After hearing so much positive feedback about it, I’m looking forward to seeing how fantastic it is in real life. However, if you can’t wait any longer and want to find out what happens next in the plot after the anime, you can read the light novel instead. I hope you found this post to be informative.
