At the age of 13, Joyce DeWitt made her stage debut. In 1975, she appeared in an episode of ‘Baretta,’ for which she received her television debut. She joined the cast of ‘Three’s Company,’ where she played Janet Wood, two years later. She remained in the role until 1984. She appeared in an episode of ‘Finder of Lost Loves’ shortly after the show ended and then stopped acting for a long time.
