Former NBA player Jalen Rose and his wife of three years, ESPN host Molly Qerim, have filed for divorce.
Jalen Rose and Molly Qerim were widely regarded as one of sports television’s power couples before they filed for divorce.
According to TMZ, the two are still on good terms after the breakup. Rose and the “First Take” host first went public with their relationship in June of 2016, and they wed in a small, private ceremony in New York City this past July.
Jalen and his wife starred in a Gatorade commercial together in the winter of 2020–2021, but just a few months later, on April 30, 2021, Jalen filed for divorce. According to the documents he filed in court, the marriage was hopelessly broken up after Qerim relocated to Connecticut.

By means of an Instagram story, he confirmed their breakup to followers. Jalen penned;
Qerim, host of “First Take,” has not yet commented on the development. Prior to the public announcement of their separation, she hosted the show on December 8. However, she no longer mentions Rose on her social media.
Jalen does not want Molly to receive alimony, and he does not want her to receive it. According to the article, Molly does not seek spousal support and there was no prenuptial agreement.
Rose’s NBA career lasted from 1994 until 2007. He then transitioned to a career in broadcasting. Qerim’s background includes time spent at NFL Network. The two exes are still colleagues at ESPN.
