City of Delhi: Apple is expected to release a large number of new Macs later this year, according to rumours. There have been rumours that the next generation of Macs, including the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, and iMac Pro, will use a hybrid of Apple’s M1 and M2 CPUs.
A new M2 chip is expected to power a 13-inch MacBook Pro, a 24-inch iMac, and a revamped MacBook Air, according to an email from Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman. The M2 processor, which will take the place of the M1, is expected to be available by the end of the year.

It’s possible that future MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac mini models will use the M2, but there’s no way of knowing for sure just yet which ones.
After the M2
Because Apple intends to use the M-series Apple silicon chips in all of its future Mac products, the chip lineup is likely to see more iterations and improvements in the future. Apple’s A-series chips, which power iPhones, have been updated year after year, and we can expect the same level of regularity from the company’s silicon chips.
Future MacBook Pro and other device models are likely to feature Apple’s M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, if the company follows the M1/M1/M1/M1 Max naming convention introduced in 2020 and 2021.
