Alex Jones was born on February 11th, 1974, in Dallas, Texas. He was raised by his parents in the Austin suburb of Rockwall, Texas, a Dallas enclave.
Ancestry: Jones hails from German, Irish and English roots. In 1993, he graduated from Anderson High School, where he was a lineman on the football team.
The majority of his teenage years were spent reading conspiracy theories and conservative journalism. Jones enrolled in Austin Community College after high school but withdrew his enrollment after only a few months.

In Austin, Texas, Jones got his start in the business with a television show. In 1996, he began hosting a show on the radio called “The Final Edition.” Ron Paul was a guest on his show several times while he was running for Congress.
On the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, Jones stated his belief that the United States was behind it. “America Destroyed By Design,” his debut film, was released in 1998.
Austin Chronicle readers voted Jones and Shannon Burke as “Best Austin Talk Show Host” in 1999.
From his home in the following year, Jones began broadcasting. For the Texas House of Representatives in 2000, Jones was one of seven Republicans who ran for office. His show was syndicated a year later on around 100 stations.
Jones began to claim that the Bush administration was behind the 9/11 attacks after the attacks on the World Trade Center. It led to a number of stations that had previously aired Jones’ show to drop him.
Jones spoke to the world’s media in England in June 2013 as part of the annual Bilderberg meeting. His speech to the Grove Hotel’s protesters, numbering around 2000, was lengthy.
