Aaron Carter’s cause of death has not officially been revealed
It is believed that drug use contributed to Aaron Carter’s death, however, the exact cause of death has not been revealed.
More news outlets have been covering the “I Want Candy” singer’s strange conduct than his songs as of late. In September 2022, after concerns that Aaron may have overdosed, police checked on his welfare.
Officials reportedly found “several cans of compressed air in Aaron’s bathroom and bedroom, as well as prescription drugs,” according to a TMZ report from Monday, November 7. even though we still don’t know what killed him.

After Aaron’s death, his older brother Nick Carter also spoke about addiction and mental illness.
Nick sent an emotional Instagram message in which he said, “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a tragedy, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the actual enemy here. More than words can express, I miss my brother terribly. “This,” you have my undying affection. Peace like this is impossible to obtain on Earth, yet here it is yours at last.

Aaron admitted openly that he had an opiate problem and was currently in therapy for the fifth time. He reflected on this experience in his E! True Hollywood Story, saying, “Everybody thought, ‘Oh my god, he has AIDS, he’s a crackhead, he’s a meth head. “That’s when I knew: either you get your act together or you decide to die a slow death,” she said.
During an interview with The Doctors in 2019, Aaron opened out about his struggles with mental health, saying, “I have multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety, and I am a manic depressive.” He also admitted that he was medicated with a variety of prescription drugs such as Xanax, Seroquel, gabapentin, hydroxyzine, trazodone, and omeprazole.
Nick and Aaron had a distance between them after Nick passed away
In a recent tweet, Aaron accused Nick and his ex-fiancee Melanie Martin of trying to get a conservatorship over him in court. Aaron tweeted, “I have the most conniving, deceitful family and Melanie has been lying to me the whole time communicating with my twin sister and the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court.”
Meanwhile, insiders told E! News that Nick and Aaron were estranged in 2019 despite Nick’s restraining order against Aaron.
“After much thought, my sister Angel and I regret that we had to file a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” Nick said. Given Aaron’s increasingly concerning conduct, as well as his recent admission that he intends to harm my pregnant wife and our unborn kid, we felt compelled to remove all safeguards from our home.

Aaron Carter is survived by his son, Prince
In the weeks before his death, he had started counseling in an effort to win back visitation rights with Prince, the son he shared with his ex-girlfriend Melanie.
I signed up for that course because it sounded interesting. He announced his upcoming stay on social media, writing, “This will be my fifth time in rehabilitation, largely to take care of aftercare. Not a single person has experienced a relapse. No relapses have occurred, however, I am currently experiencing significant difficulties avoiding certain triggers. Well, you know, I just want my son back.
His explanation continued, “It’s an abstinence program and I work with an individual counselor. I’ve completed CPR training, studied for and passed the BLS (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certification exam, and attended both individual and group therapy sessions for various issues. Being a father has opened a new and wonderful chapter in my life, but it has also been a lot of work. This whole experience has been incredible.
Our prayers are with Aaron and his loved ones as they go through this difficult time.
